BLCC NOVICES ONLY EVENT

‘The one you’ve been waiting for’

Do you have novices who would like to compete in a ring event but are nervous of doing so or unsure as to whether they are ready?

Respecting the predicament of such fighters we are currently gauging interest in hosting a PURE NOVICES event which will only be open to

students who have either zero competitive experience (mat & ring) or a maximum of 2 fights without win.

No entries will be accepted from anyone with 3 or more fights or those who have secured prior wins.

Subject to response, the event will be hosted at Telford on Sunday 22nd June and comprise of either kids only, adults only or a mixture of the two.

In the event of the later, the start time will be staggered with kids in the morning and adults in the afternoon.

All usual BLCC rules will apply in terms of matching, point scoring and technique with only novices entitled to enter.

All fighters will receive a trophy on the day.

Should your club have suitable fighters please register your expression of interest by return.

We do not need fighters names & stats at this stage but we do need an indication of those clubs wishing to attend and approximate numbers.

Please advise urgently as your response (or lack of) will ultimately decide whether or not we proceed with the event.

The event will be limited to 30 fights for which we anticipate a high percentage of unmatched fighters.

As such it will be vital that fighters details are entered as soon as possible after the event is confirmed so that we can notify you

of those who are matched or unmatched. There will be no matchings done on the day and no second fights.

Should you have novices looking to participate this is the ideal opportunity to compete

in what we believe to be the only event of its kind focused PURELY on novices.
